K.C. Gussler - Director, Choreographer, Entertainer

ABOUT ME
A 35-year veteran of both the theatre and film, K.C. began his professional career as one of ten young tap dancing boys in the MGM film Pennies from Heaven starring Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters. By sixteen he was the youngest member to join the Las Vegas production of A Chorus Line. At age 21, he made his Broadway debut in the 1991 Tony Award revival of Gypsy starring Tyne Daly. His directing and choreographic credits include Brighton Beach Memoirs, Oklahoma!, It’s A Wonderful Life – A Live Radio Play, Seven Brides for Severn Brothers and Damn Yankees for Torrance Theatre Company. Curtains for McCoy/Rigby Entertainment. The Light in the Piazza for Music Theatre University, Hello Dolly! for Moonlight Amphitheater. Fiddler on the Roof for Theatre League and the Civic Light Opera of the South Bay Cities. You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown for Sacramento Music Circus. Mr. Gussler is the three-time winner of the B. Iden Payne, Austin Theatre Critic’s award for his direction and choreography. In 2014, Mr. Gussler was awarded the Excellence in Arts Award for Drama & Theatre Arts by the City of Torrance. Throughout the years, Mr. Gussler has had a long affiliation with the Walt Disney Company. Choreographing and performing for Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland. He is a former Casting Director for Walt Disney Creative Entertainment, casting for Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong DIsneyland and the up-coming Shanghai Disneyland Resort. At present, K.C. is a resident Show Director and Choreographer for Knott's Berry Farm and Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. He has created several musical productions including It's The Merriest Christmas Show Ever, Charlie Brown, Snoopy's Boysenberry Jamboree and Elvira Mistress of the Dark for Knott's Scary Farm's Halloween Haunt.
